Karma: A Yogi’s Guide to Crafting Your Destiny Review
Sadhguru’s explanation in simple english makes this an easy read.
However, the adhyathmic content, although less, took sometime for me to understand and digest. There were certain aspects that I still haven’t understood.
I really liked the fact that many concepts of ‘Karma’ were explained practically and I was able to draw parallel’s with other learnings I have had over the years (life + book knowledge).
The usual understanding of ‘Karma’, inheriting good karma by doing good deeds and bad karma by doing bad deeds is completely squashed and a new understanding of Karma is explained well in this book.
Surprisingly after reading this book, my entrepreneurial drive has increased and I am guessing I want that off my chest in the long term!
A good read, recommended only for those who have already realised happiness and peace are something that comes from the inside!
Karma: A Yogi’s Guide to Crafting Your Destiny Summary
A much-used word, Karma is loosely understood as a system of checks and balances in our lives, of good actions and bad deeds, of good thoughts and bad intentions. A system that seemingly ensures that at the end of the day one gets what one deserves. This grossly over-simplified understanding has created many complexities in our lives and taken away from us the very fundamentals of the joy of living.
Through this book, not only does Sadhguru explain what Karma is and how we can use its concepts to enhance our lives, but he also tells us about the Sutras, a step-by-step guide to navigating our way in this challenging world. In the process, we get a deeper, richer understanding of life and the power to craft our destinies
Karma A yogi’s guide by Sadhguru
